Surya diamonds luckily at a time we are in trading and trainings by god’s grace, which is a rare combination of single man operating the suryadiamonds.
These are based in the business district of Andhra Pradesh state head quarter of Guntur, which is located in the coastal area of south India. Surya diamonds is started in the year of 2010 by a renowned gemologist mr.srinivas sunkara.
Mr.srinivas had successfully completed his gemology programme and training from gemological institute of America and Asian institute of gemological sciences Thailand, Bangkok. He then returned to India to set up surya diamonds a trading arm of the firm and surya diamondsthe training arm of the firm.
He designed several programmes and trading techniques to develop innovative methods and techniques for buying, testing and selling gems and gemstones in the business. Mr.srinivas has also developed a vast range of literature on sources of gems and their origin.
He extensively studied the gemology industry from mine to market. He did personal research in several countries with many mines. He has been till date success full in training several gemologists and making them market ready professionals.
Surya diamonds is a leading supplier of precious gemstones focused on Indian market in all 29 states by strategically expanding its operations. We travel directly to the mines to bring the finest and quality gemstones. We also offer consulting services and assistance in astrology, palmistry, numerology, vasthu and gem testing, and specialized training in gemology.

Mr. Srinivas is the founder & Chairman of Surya Diamonds & Surya Institute of Gemology. He hails from an agricultural ethical family. Since childhood he as a special love towards sports.
He is a very well talented sports person and achieved many laurels. His basic profession is a physical director in Andhra Pradesh government with department of education. From past 30 years He got inspired by this fascinating world of colour stones.
Since the day he took a U-turn in his career and went abroad to study and conduct high profile research from fundamental basics in the field of gemology He holds Graduate Diamonds course and Pearl Grading lab from the Gemological Institute of America, Carlsbad, California-USA, and in Gemology from the Asian Institute of Gemological Sciences, Bangkok, Thailand.
He has over 15 years of experience in the gemstone industry and has shared his views through electronic and print media several times on gemstones, mines and the market.
He has been success full in training & certifying several young gemologists, and many more aspiring young and dynamic professionals from gem and jewellery industry.

Ms. Siva Parvathi is the co-founder and director of Surya Institute of Gemology & Surya diamonds.
She is a post graduate woman from Nagarjuna University. She holds gem identification from the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Development Institute, Hyderabad. She has also successfully completed Pearl Grading and Identification of Ruby, Sapphire & Emerald conducted by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and she has also successful completed diamond grading, coloured stones grading and pricing, synthetic and gem identification courses from surya institute of gemology under the guidance of world famous gemologist Mr.P.J joseph .
She has been actively associated with surya diamonds & surya institute of gemology by contributing to the research database.
She lead’s several teaching classes and special training courses in gem testing and identification from local jewellers and traders to medium size corporate’s.
She is having 15 years in this industry for trainings and trading . She is having good experience with mines to market system as she travelled to many countries.
